Job Requirements
- Culinary degree or formal pastry training preferred
- Proven pastry leadership experience
- Strong foundation in classical and contemporary pastry techniques
- Experience with high volume production and multi outlet operations
- Ability to manage inventory and food cost controls
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and allergen protocols
- Flexible availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and special events
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

- Experience supporting high volume events and multi outlet operations
- Ability to manage production schedules, inventory, and food cost controls
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and allergen protocols
- Culinary degree or formal pastry training preferred
- Flexibility to work varied schedules including days, evenings, weekends, and events
Job Duties
- Lead all pastry and dessert production for cafes, restaurants, catering, and special events
- Develop seasonal and event driven dessert menus aligned with the MFA brand and Restaurant Associates standards
- Execute high volume production while maintaining consistency, quality, and refined presentation
- Partner with culinary and events teams on plated desserts, passed sweets, buffets, and custom event menus
- Manage ordering, inventory, food cost, and waste controls for the pastry program
- Ensure all pastry operations meet food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and allergen standards
- Train, supervise, and mentor pastry team members, fostering accountability and growth
- Support evening, weekend, and special event execution as required by the events calendar
