Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years pastry culinary experience
  • Certified level cook and/or experience in food production and/or preparation
  • Food Handlers permit
  • Ability to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace
  • Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs

Job Qualifications

  • Certified level cook and/or experience in food production and/or preparation
  • Minimum of 5 years pastry culinary experience
  • Food and Beverage customer service experience
  • Food Handlers permit
  • Ability to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace
  • Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Culinary school degree preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare the highest quality pastry and baked goods according to menu descriptions and Executive Chef direction
  • Maintain the highest level of execution and quality food while adhering to timelines and banquet event orders
  • Set up workstation based on menu items, banquet event orders, and specials ensuring all mise en place is ready
  • Follow proper sanitation and safety guidelines consistently
  • Inspect all food products for proper appearance, color, and appeal
  • Store all food items correctly in appropriate containers in refrigerators and freezers to maintain freshness
  • Assist with hot and cold line stations including prep, banquet support, and dishwashing as needed
