Job Requirements

  • Certified level cook and/or experience in food production and/or preparation
  • minimum of 5 years pastry culinary experience
  • food and beverage customer service experience
  • food handlers permit
  • must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace
  • all positions may perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs that may be outside the scope of normal duties

Job Qualifications

  • Certified level cook and/or experience in food production and/or preparation
  • minimum of 5 years pastry culinary experience
  • food and beverage customer service experience
  • food handlers permit
  • must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace
  • willingness to perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs
  • high school or equivalent education preferred
  • culinary school degree preferred

Job Duties

  • Passion for baking and pastry creation
  • maintaining the highest level of execution and quality food while following timelines and banquet event orders
  • prepping, preparing, and executing all menu items to specification and according to Executive Chef directions
  • setting up work station based on menu items, banquet event orders, and specials ensuring mise en place is ready for the shift
  • following proper sanitation and safety guidelines and keeping kitchen and storage areas clean and organized
  • inspecting all food products to maintain proper appearance, colors and appeal
  • ensuring all food storage is in proper containers in refrigerators and freezers to maintain freshness
  • assisting with operations of hot and cold lines including prep, banquets, and dish when needed
