Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree or certification in pastry arts
  • 5+ years experience in luxury hospitality, fine dining, or high-profile event settings
  • Proven ability to innovate and execute under pressure
  • Expertise in classic and modern pastry techniques including plated desserts, showpieces, and specialty diets
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods
  • Adherence to uniform and personal protective equipment usage

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or certification in pastry arts
  • At least 2 years of experience in a related field
  • 0-2 years experience in a management role
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven ability to innovate and execute under pressure
  • Expertise in classic and modern pastry techniques including plated desserts and showpieces
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Create signature desserts that impress guests and elevate their experience
  • Collaborate with executive chef and culinary team to develop seasonal menus and bespoke offerings
  • Lead and mentor pastry assistants to foster creativity and precision
  • Ensure every dessert meets high standards of taste, presentation, and consistency
  • Incorporate cutting-edge techniques and global trends into pastry creations
  • Manage kitchen operations related to pastry under pressure
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the pastry kitchen
