Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of pastry experience
  • Availability for varied shifts including nights and weekends
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform manual kitchen tasks
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Must comply with food safety standards and regulations
  • Eligible to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Two years of prior pastry experience
  • Experience in scratch cooking preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise kitchen staff
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Strong organizational and inventory management skills
  • Ability to manage food costs and production standards
  • Creativity in developing seasonal menus

Job Duties

  • Creates and supervises the daily production of pastries, desserts, and baked goods
  • Ensures recipes and standards are consistently followed
  • Controls food costs and prepares appropriate quantities
  • Maintains proper food handling, presentation, and portion control
  • Oversees sanitation and maintenance of the pastry kitchen and equipment
  • Supervises and manages hourly kitchen and pastry associates including hiring and training
  • Plans and implements seasonal pastry menus
  • Orders and maintains pastry supplies and inventory
  • Performs additional duties as assigned
