Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • one year bakery experience preferred
  • current Food Handler's Permit
  • ability to read and follow recipes
  • basic math skills
  • ability to prepare pastries with quality results
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to work in hot, cold, slippery conditions

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
  • ensures the quality and freshness of all bakery products
  • maintains appropriate product assortment and inventory levels
  • confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products
  • ensures bakery cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • delivers excellent customer service
  • prepares, cooks, bakes, assembles, and decorates pastries
  • orders, receives, and stores bakery products and supplies
  • communicates with Store Director and Bakery Manager
