Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • one year of bakery experience preferred
  • current Food Handler's Permit
  • ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • physical ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds
  • ability to perform repetitive motion tasks
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to follow recipes and use basic math
  • ability to work in hot, cold, sticky, slippery, and wet conditions
  • ability to accept constructive feedback

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • one year of bakery experience preferred

  • experience preparing pastries quickly and efficiently
  • ability to read and follow recipes
  • basic math skills for recipe adjustments
  • knowledge of mixing, cooking, baking, and assembling pastries

Job Duties

  • Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures
  • ensure the quality and freshness of all bakery products
  • maintain appropriate product assortment and inventory levels
  • confirm pricing accuracy and signage for all products
  • ensure bakery is cleaned and sanitized daily
  • deliver excellent customer service
  • follow production sheets for inventory management
  • ensure correct amount of ingredients and supplies are stocked
  • prepare, cook, bake, assemble, and decorate pastries
  • communicate openly with Store Director and Bakery Manager
