Job Requirements

  • 5 years experience in restaurant and pastry or culinary education with a minimum of 3 years experience in restaurant and pastry
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to write and speak clearly and effectively
  • Ability to compose recipes
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests, managers and team members
  • Ability to convert recipes into larger and smaller batches
  • Thorough understanding of weights, measures and conversions
  • Ability to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and company goals
  • Ability to lift heavy items up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand for entire shift
  • Ability to bend, stoop and reach
  • Ability to safely operate company vehicle or golf cart

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Cleanliness and organization of bakeshop
  • Communication and ordering of all pastry specific supplies and equipment
  • Proper rotation and monitoring of raw and finished products
  • Overseeing all production of breakfast pastries, breads, lunch and dinner desserts
  • Management of production schedule
  • Management of staff work schedule
  • Full creative responsibility in menu development under guidance from Executive Chef
