Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One year of bakery experience preferred
- Current Food Handler's Permit
- Ability to prepare pastries quickly and efficiently
- Ability to read and follow recipes
- Basic math skills
- Ability to interpret policies and procedures
- Excellent organization and planning skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to accept constructive review
- Ability to make logical decisions
- Integrity and a positive attitude
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
Job Qualifications

- Experience preparing pastries efficiently with quality results
- Ability to read and follow a recipe

- Knowledge of mixing, cooking, baking, and assembling procedures

Job Duties
- Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
- Ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services
- Maintains appropriate product assortment and inventory levels
- Confirms pricing accuracy and signage
- Ensures bakery cleanliness and sanitization
- Delivers excellent customer service
- Follows production sheets for inventory levels
- Prepares, cooks, bakes, assembles, and decorates pastries
- Communicates with Store Director and Bakery Manager
- Orders, receives, and stores product
- Trains other pastry chefs
- Determines production and inventory needs
