Job Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a pastry cook or higher
  • Possession of valid Food Handler Card
  • Valid documentation of right to work in the U.S
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds of force frequently
  • Ability to maintain and follow recipes, processes and standards
  • Drive and ambition with a desire to learn and grow within the team
  • Full ownership of your role

Job Duties

  • Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications in line with SUSHI SAMBA standards
  • Coordinate the delivery of all food items within the required time standards
  • Demonstrating product standards and knowledge
  • Prepare and plate food items according to specifications and preset time limits
  • Ensure safety and sanitation standards are maintained
  • Communicate any product run outs, equipment issues and service issues
  • Assist in the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, coolers, and all storage areas
