valid Food Handlers card
minimum 3 years pastry chef experience
ability to lead culinary team
strong cake decorating skills
proficiency in recipe standardization
effective leadership abilities
willingness to work in a senior living culinary environment

Job Qualifications

3-5 years of professional pastry chef experience
strong cake production and decorating skills
expertise in pies, tarts, and chocolate work
experience in upscale a la carte dessert production
ability to write standardized recipes
leadership skills in culinary team development
familiarity with food safety practices

Job Duties

lead pastry and bakery operations for dining venues
create and decorate cakes, pies, tarts, and chocolate desserts
develop upscale a la carte desserts and breakfast pastries
oversee catering pastry services
write and standardize bakery recipes
design pastry display pieces
mentor and lead culinary team members
