Job Requirements

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, culinary degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years experience in pastry and dessert culinary management
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of local health and safety regulations
  • Willingness to maintain high standards of quality and consistency

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a high volume, multi-unit culinary management role
  • Proficient knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques, health department rules and regulations

Job Duties

  • Craft delicious desserts and pastries for multiple dining outlets including restaurants, in-room dining, and special events
  • Lead and manage the pastry section of the kitchen including hiring, training, and performance management
  • Develop menus, recipes, and product specifications to ensure quality and consistency
  • Collaborate with Food & Beverage and Banquets directors to maintain exceptional culinary standards
  • Ensure compliance with kitchen operational standards including timing, sanitation, and food safety
  • Innovate with current trends in baking and pastry presentation to enhance the guest experience
  • Manage inventory and product control for the pastry department
