Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree preferred
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
  • Frequent walking, kneeling, bending, and reaching overhead
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to taste product for quality assurance

Job Qualifications

  • Two years of previous culinary experience, pastry experience strongly preferred
  • Must be able to safely utilize all bakery equipment
  • Ability to work in multiple regional and/or market locations
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule according to business needs
  • Must have reliable transportation

Job Duties

  • Leads the teams by motivating, training, and developing the culinary team members
  • Prepare a wide variety of standard and custom baked goods according to recipes and standard operating procedures including, but not limited to, cakes, cookies, pies, bars, puddings, buttercreams, etc.
  • Lead team in production of custom baked goods
  • Develop and trains skills in mixing, baking, building, decorating and inscribing products
  • Assign daily production to team members and ensure its completion
  • Ensure all food is prepared, handled, and stored according to all required food safety code standards
  • Operate and maintain bakery equipment, manage product inventory levels, and guest orders
