Job Requirements
- Must have and maintain an active Management Level Food Handler's Certification (ServSafe)
- Adhere to local food handler requirements
- Maintain exceptional punctuality and attendance
- Perform all duties responsibly and efficiently
- Collaborate with other teams and be flexible with scheduling when needed
Job Qualifications
- Culinary degree preferred but not required
- 1-2 years of experience in high volume baking production or comparable experience
- Baking experience essential
- Moderate kitchen skills and etiquette
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Attention to detail especially regarding quality inspections
- Basic math skills
- Willingness to work independently or collaboratively and solve problems
Job Duties
- Prepare, bake, cook, and serve pastries, cookies, and breads
- Accommodate special dietary needs by preparing nut free, gluten free, and vegan items
- Measure and combine ingredients using mixers, blenders, and ovens
- Collaborate on menu ideas and assist with inventory management
- Support ordering processes and ensure food cards and menus are accurate
- Ensure food quality, production standards, and replenishment of displayed products
- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines and document compliance
- Engage positively with guests and participate in team activities
- Taste ingredients and finished goods to meet quality controls
- Deliver baked goods to other locations as needed
