Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in baking or related culinary positions
  • Food safety certification
  • Proficient in basic math
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Physically able to perform necessary duties including lifting and standing for long periods
  • Commitment to following safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to wear required uniforms and personal protective equipment

Job Qualifications

  • Background in baking or similar role
  • Sound understanding of baking practices, norms, and regulations for ensuring food safety
  • Certification in food safety is mandatory
  • Fundamental abilities in mathematics and counting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication competencies through written and verbal means
  • Ability to meet physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged walking or standing
  • Willingness to wear uniforms and adhere to personal protective equipment guidelines

Job Duties

  • Use standardized recipes and production guidelines to prepare a range of baked goods
  • Get your baking station ready with all the necessary tools and ingredients
  • Arrange the elements through measuring, weighing, blending, dicing, and other necessary tasks
  • Utilize baking appliances such as ovens, cooktops, and mixers
  • Follow safety guidelines when using kitchen utensils, particularly knives, during food prep
  • Ensure that food is stored correctly by following established policies and procedures
  • Properly clean and sanitize workspaces, tools, and utensils once they have been used
  • Provide stellar customer service and display a positive attitude when dealing with guests, clients, customers, coworkers, and others
  • Abide by Aramark safety measures, which include following established protocols for food safety and cleanliness
  • Secure company property by strictly observing designated security protocols
