Job Requirements

- prior baking experience preferred
- food safety certification mandatory
- ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
- basic math proficiency

- adherence to safety and hygiene regulations
- willingness to comply with uniform and PPE policies
Job Qualifications
- Ideal candidates will have a background in baking or a similar role
- Sound understanding of baking practices, norms, and regulations for ensuring food safety
- Certification: Mandatory for securing food safety certification(s)
- Fundamental abilities in mathematics and counting are vital
- Demonstrates adeptness in communication through written and verbal means, showcasing strong interpersonal and communication competencies
- Physical Prerequisites: Must have the capacity to complete physical tasks like lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged walking/standing periods
- The role may entail the need for both wearing uniforms and adhering to PPE guidelines
- There may be a requirement to wear both Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uniforms
Job Duties
- Use standardized recipes and production guidelines to prepare a range of baked goods
- Get your baking station ready with all the necessary tools and ingredients
- Arrange the elements through measuring, weighing, blending, dicing, and other necessary tasks
- Utilize baking appliances such as ovens, cooktops, and mixers
- Follow safety guidelines when using kitchen utensils, particularly knives, during food prep
- Ensure that food is stored correctly by following established policies and procedures
- It is important to properly clean and sanitize workspaces, tools, and utensils once they have been used
- Provide stellar customer service and display a positive attitude when dealing with guests, clients, customers, coworkers, and others
- Abide by Aramark safety measures, which include following established protocols for food safety and cleanliness
- Secure company property by strictly observing designated security protocols
- Actions like lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and significant walking and standing may be required
