Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in baking or culinary arts
  • valid food safety certification
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for long periods
  • effective communication skills
  • adherence to safety and sanitation standards
  • commitment to follow uniform and PPE protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Background in baking or similar role
  • sound understanding of baking practices, norms, and food safety regulations
  • mandatory food safety certification
  • fundamental abilities in mathematics and counting
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • physical capacity to complete tasks like lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged walking or standing
  • willingness to wear uniforms and adhere to PPE guidelines

Job Duties

  • Use standardized recipes and production guidelines to prepare a range of baked goods
  • get your baking station ready with all necessary tools and ingredients
  • arrange the elements through measuring, weighing, blending, dicing, and other necessary tasks
  • utilize baking appliances such as ovens, cooktops, and mixers
  • follow safety guidelines when using kitchen utensils, particularly knives, during food prep
  • ensure that food is stored correctly by following established policies and procedures
  • properly clean and sanitize workspaces, tools, and utensils once used
  • provide stellar customer service and display a positive attitude when dealing with guests, clients, customers, coworkers, and others
  • abide by Aramark safety measures, including following established protocols for food safety and cleanliness
  • secure company property by strictly observing designated security protocols
