Job Requirements

  • Food safety certification mandatory
  • Experience in a baking or similar culinary position
  • Knowledge of baking practices and food safety norms
  • Basic math skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Physical ability to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing
  • Compliance with uniform and PPE guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • Background in baking or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of baking practices, norms, and food safety regulations
  • Mandatory food safety certification
  • Fundamental skills in mathematics and counting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged walking or standing
  • Willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment as required

Job Duties

  • Use standardized recipes and production guidelines to prepare a range of baked goods
  • Get your baking station ready with all the necessary tools and ingredients
  • Arrange the elements through measuring, weighing, blending, dicing, and other necessary tasks
  • Utilize baking appliances such as ovens, cooktops, and mixers
  • Follow safety guidelines when using kitchen utensils, particularly knives, during food prep
  • Ensure that food is stored correctly by following established policies and procedures
  • Properly clean and sanitize workspaces, tools, and utensils once they have been used
  • Provide stellar customer service and display a positive attitude when dealing with guests, clients, customers, coworkers, and others
  • Abide by Aramark safety measures, including established protocols for food safety and cleanliness
  • Secure company property by observing designated security protocols
