Job Requirements

  • Must have and maintain an active Management Level Food Handler's Certification (ServSafe)
  • Adhere to local food handler requirements
  • Maintain exceptional punctuality and attendance record
  • Perform duties responsibly and efficiently
  • Collaborate with other teams during staffing shortages
  • Flexible schedule when needed
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree preferred but not required
  • 1-2 years of experience in high volume baking production or comparable experience
  • Baking experience essential
  • Moderate kitchen skills and etiquettes
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently or with management
  • Attention to detail in quality inspections
  • Basic mathematical skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare, bake, cook, and serve various pastries, cookies, and breads
  • Accommodate special dietary needs including nut-free, gluten-free, and vegan varieties
  • Measure and combine ingredients using mixers, blenders, and heat sources
  • Collaborate on menu ideas and support inventory and ordering processes
  • Ensure food quality, production standards, and compliance with safety and sanitation procedures
  • Decorate and display finished products according to menu standards
  • Engage positively with guests and enhance the customer experience
