Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 3-4 years of relevant baking and pastry experience
- Ability to stand for minimum of 8 hours a day
- Pass a background check
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Good HACCP knowledge or Food ServSafe certification
- Ability to move throughout the café and kitchen
- Clean professional appearance

Job Duties
- Prepares bakes cooks and serves various pastries cookies and breads
- Makes all types of desserts including sweet and savory breads cakes cupcakes pies torts flans custards granolas cookies pate a choux cheesecakes bars and some vegan desserts
- Writes menus for an array of world cuisine
- Responsible for food quality and presentation
- Prepares breads rolls muffins cookies pies cakes doughnuts biscuits and other pastries including icings and frostings according to established recipes
- Reviews production schedules to determine variety and quantity of goods to bake and to assemble supplies and equipment needed for daily baking activities
- Spreads or sprinkles a range of various toppings on specialty baked items
