Job Requirements

  • Must have and maintain active Management Level Food Handler's Certification ServSafe and adhere to local food handler requirements
  • Maintain exceptional punctuality and attendance record
  • Perform all duties responsibly and efficiently
  • Able to collaborate with other teams and support during short staffing with flexible scheduling
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree preferred but not required
  • 1-2 years of experience in high volume baking production or comparable experience
  • Baking experience essential with moderate kitchen skills etiquette
  • Strong communication time and resource management skills
  • Ability to multitask and work independently or with management to solve problems
  • Attention to detail especially for quality inspections
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Professional appearance and sense of urgency

Job Duties

  • Prepares bakes cooks and serves various pastries cookies and breads accommodating special dietary needs
  • Measures and combines ingredients using mixers blenders ovens and other equipment
  • Collaborates on menu ideas and supports recurring inventory management
  • Supports ordering process by supplying pastry needs and ingredient management
  • Ensures accuracy of food cards and menus and maintains food quality and production standards
  • Decorates and displays finished products following menu standards
  • Follows safety and sanitation procedures engaging with guests and supporting team efforts
