Job Requirements

  • 2 plus years of qualified experience in a similar position
  • able to communicate verbally in an articulate manner
  • ability to work various days and hours as business dictates
  • must have a valid food handler card
  • must be at least 18 years of age or have valid work permit
  • must have reliable transportation to work
  • must be able to obtain proper uniform, including black non-slip shoes
  • must have proof to legally work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of experience in a similar role
  • knowledge of pastry and garde manger station operations
  • ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • familiarity with sanitary food handling practices
  • experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment

Job Duties

  • prepare ingredients and dishes for pastry and garde manger stations
  • assist the pastry chef and executive chef during service hours
  • ensure proper cooking, tasting, and presentation of products
  • maintain sanitary food handling practices according to SOPs and health codes
  • monitor and maintain product par levels
  • store products properly at the end of each day
  • interact with customers and team members in a hospitable and professional manner
