Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old or have a valid work permit
- reliable transportation
- ability to obtain and wear proper uniform including black non-slip shoes
- legal eligibility to work in the United States
- willingness to work various days and hours as needed
- valid food handler card
- two or more years of qualified experience
- good verbal communication skills
Job Qualifications
- minimum two years of experience in a similar culinary position
- strong verbal communication skills
- knowledge of pastry and garde manger station operations
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- valid food handler card
Job Duties
- prepare ingredients and dishes for pastry and garde manger stations
- assist pastry chef and executive chef during service hours
- ensure proper cooking, tasting, and plating of products
- maintain product inventory and proper storage
- uphold sanitary food handling practices and health code compliance
- interact positively with customers and team members
- adhere to quality standards and portion control
