Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or certification in pastry arts, baking, culinary arts, or related field
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant experience as a pastry artist
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong problem solving abilities
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to conceptualize and design innovative pastry products
  • Knowledge of baking techniques and decoration methods

Job Qualifications

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree or certification in pastry arts, baking, culinary arts, or any other relevant field
  • Possess software competencies - Microsoft Office programs (Advanced)
  • Demonstrate problem solving skills
  • Hold strong leadership and team management skills
  • Have 5 - 8 years of experience in a similar role

Job Duties

  • Conceptualize and design innovative pastries and desserts that align with the establishment's theme and customer preferences
  • Execute precise baking techniques to produce a variety of pastries, from simple cookies to complex cakes and confectioneries
  • Skillfully decorate pastries using a range of techniques, including icing, glazing, and chocolate work, to enhance visual appeal
  • Develop and test new recipes, ensuring they are delicious, aesthetically pleasing, and cost-effective
  • Maintain high standards of quality and consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of all baked goods
  • Monitor and manage inventory of baking ingredients and supplies, ensuring freshness and availability
