Job Requirements

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • One year minimum of cooking experience in a standalone restaurant or hotel
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment
  • Luxury hotel experience is a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and handle physical tasks such as standing for extended periods
  • Willingness to work in varying temperatures including freezers and hot kitchens
  • Trustworthy and possess integrity

  • Passion for baking and pastry creation
  • Experience in cooking or baking in a restaurant or hotel setting
  • Knowledge of culinary techniques and sanitation standards
  • Ability to mentor and support junior kitchen staff
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Commitment to exceptional guest service

Job Duties

  • Prepare the highest quality of food products for the restaurant and banquets according to menu descriptions and hotel standards
  • Mentor Cook III and kitchen staff providing guidance and support as needed
  • Maintain in depth knowledge of food products sanitation standards and culinary techniques to execute dishes at the highest level
  • Regularly restock kitchen supplies and food items along with maintaining the cleanliness of your area
  • Fulfill guest orders in a timely manner with skillful attention to detail
  • Work in a collaborative environment maintaining professionalism
  • Deliver on guests' expectations and create WOW moments
  • Perform additional duties as assigned outside the normal scope based on business need
