Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in manufacturing or food production preferred
- Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and occasionally ascend/descend stairs
- Capable of moving materials up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Understanding of OSHA and FDA HACCP guidelines
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment
- Ability to work second shift Monday through Friday
- Adherence to company policies and safety gear requirements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain quality standards
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work shifts including second shift hours
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer skills for inventory recording
- Willingness to comply with safety and hygiene protocols
Job Duties
- Review, collect, monitor, and document required ingredients to maintain correct recipe specifications
- Combine specified ingredients into mixer and monitor closely to ensure quality standards are met
- Report any foreign objects, defective materials, and missing or damaged tools to the Supervisor
- Perform assigned raw material inventory counts and record findings in system
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
- Ensure critical control point compliance documenting FDA HACCP results, magnet cleaning, downtime, waste generation
- Report any non-conformities
- Rotate into other production areas and perform additional duties where resources may be needed
- Collaborate with co-workers on the plant floor throughout production cycle
- Pick up other tasks that may be needed during downtime such as maintaining clean work areas
- Operate within the Blommer core values of respect and care for others
