Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience working in a pasta or sauté station preferred
  • strong knowledge of pasta cooking techniques and kitchen safety standards
  • ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
  • excellent communication and team collaboration skills
  • commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety

Job Duties

  • Execute all pasta dishes to Vacanza Romana's standards for flavor, texture, and presentation
  • cook pasta to order with proper timing, sauce consistency, and plating finesse
  • prepare and maintain sauces, fillings, and pasta components during each shift
  • keep a clean, organized, and efficient station throughout service
  • assist with prep work and support other kitchen stations when needed
  • follow all food safety and sanitation standards
  • communicate clearly with chefs, expo, and fellow line cooks to maintain smooth service
