Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of professional cooking experience
- Knowledge of pasta preparation and cooking techniques
- Experience in a high-volume kitchen environment
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Familiarity with food safety standards and kitchen sanitation
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
- Strong communication skills and teamwork
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen tasks
Job Qualifications
- Culinary degree or certification is preferred but not required
- Minimum of 2 years of professional cooking experience, preferably in a high-volume kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of pasta preparation techniques, including dough-making, cooking methods, and sauce pairing
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and consistency in food quality
- Familiarity with kitchen safety and sanitation protocols
- Experience operating pasta machines, mixers, and other related kitchen equipment
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays based on company operations
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook high-quality pasta dishes in accordance with established recipes and portion standards
- Ensure all pasta components, including sauces and garnishes, meet quality, taste, and presentation standards
- Assist in monitoring the production process to maintain efficiency and support meal timelines
- Maintain proper handling and storage of ingredients to ensure freshness and minimize waste
- Operate and maintain pasta-making equipment, including mixers, rollers, and cookers, in a safe and sanitary manner
- Support the kitchen team by coordinating cooking activities and communicating effectively during meal preparation
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations as outlined in the company’s food safety management system
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times, ensuring compliance with hygiene standards
- Report any issues related to food safety, quality, or equipment promptly to the supervisor or hygiene team
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support daily kitchen operations
