Job Requirements

  • valid driver’s license
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in customer service or the airline industry preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
  • must be able to work the scheduled hours, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
  • proficiency with computers and airline software or ability to acquire
  • ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to passenger service
  • strong problem-solving skills and adaptability
  • commitment to uphold company policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • ensure high-quality and consistent customer satisfaction by delivering courteous and knowledgeable service at the passenger service desk, over the phone, and in written communications
  • responsible for the procedures involved in opening and closing the passenger lobby at the start and end of daily service
  • learn, understand, and accurately facilitate all functions of TakeFlite airline software program
  • accurately process freight airway bills and passenger tickets via TakeFlite
  • ensure the cash drawer is properly managed and accurately finalize and submit the Daily Sales Report verifications
  • maintain regular communication with village agents about flight status via phone calls, emails, and recorded messages
  • reserve seats for passengers and provide customers with instructions for cargo processing
  • collaborate with the Cargo department to provide updates on flight and load status
  • collaborate with the Sales and Operations teams to create and distribute customer charter quote details
  • review weekly mail comparisons and prepare a weekly mail report for accounting
  • conduct monthly audit of Accounts Payable weight verification
  • ensure prompt collection of accounts through communication and review overdue accounts for appropriate action
  • continuously review and revise workplace instructions for PSA
  • perform training to new employees or staff members
  • maintain cleanliness in the lobby by vacuuming daily and stocking the coffee station
  • become cross-trained in Cargo CSA Activities to support the Cargo office
  • support Director of Operations, Chief Pilot, or Passenger and Service Supervisor with additional administrative tasks
