Job Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in customer service or airline operations preferred
  • proficiency with airline software systems such as TakeFlite
  • strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • ability to manage cash handling processes
  • organizational and multitasking abilities
  • basic knowledge of cargo and freight handling procedures
  • capability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle challenging situations professionally
  • willingness to participate in cross-training and staff training activities

Job Duties

  • Ensure high-quality and consistent customer satisfaction by delivering courteous and knowledgeable service at the passenger service desk, over the phone, and in written communications
  • responsible for the procedures involved in opening and closing the passenger lobby at the start and end of daily service
  • learn, understand, and accurately facilitate all functions of TakeFlite airline software
  • accurately process freight airway bills and passenger tickets, conduct related research as needed
  • manage the cash drawer and finalize daily sales report verifications
  • maintain regular communication with village agents regarding flight status
  • reserve passenger seats and provide cargo processing instructions
  • collaborate with Cargo, Sales, and Operations teams for flight and load updates and charter quotes
  • review weekly mail comparisons and prepare reports for accounting
  • conduct monthly audits for accounts payable weight verification
  • ensure prompt collection of accounts through calls and written communication
  • continuously review and revise workplace instructions
  • perform training for new employees or staff as required
  • maintain lobby cleanliness and coffee station
  • become cross-trained in cargo customer service activities
  • support additional administrative tasks as assigned by supervisors
