Job Requirements

  • Must have open availability
  • able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • must be at least 18 years old
  • valid driver’s license
  • pass a ten year background check and pre-employment drug test
  • authorization to work in the U.S. as defined in the Immigration Act of 1986
  • attend and successfully complete required training
  • well groomed
  • ability to carry 70-pound suitcase and perform physical tasks required by the job
  • able to work varied hours including swing and graveyard shifts
  • flexibility to work increased or decreased hours due to seasonal flight changes

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum two years customer service experience or equivalent in related training or experience
  • possess basic computer skills with the ability to type 25 wpm
  • able to read and write English
  • bilingual skills a plus
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work efficiently under time constraints
  • positive and friendly attitude
  • reliable, responsible, and cooperative
  • willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges

Job Duties

  • Processing customer tickets
  • checking baggage
  • monitoring carry-on baggage for size and quantity
  • assigning seats
  • providing information on arrival and departure times, boarding procedures, carry-on regulations, and seating arrangements
  • handling denied boarding situations and accommodating customers with hotel, meal, and taxi vouchers
  • ensuring FAA, airline, and airport regulations are followed
  • enforcing safety and security measures and protecting sensitive zones
  • assisting customers with special needs
  • completing sales reports
  • performing ramp, aircraft cleaning, operations and commissary duties as required
  • maintaining excellent communication skills
  • complying with company policies and procedures
