Job Requirements

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
  • Computer skills
  • Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time at the ticket counter and gate check-in areas
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen
  • Flexible schedule
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Job Qualifications

  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer proficiency to use check-in and airport related systems
  • Ability to apply common sense to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions

  • Prior customer service or airport experience is beneficial
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Assist passengers with check-ins, verification, gate information, baggage claims and other passenger issues in the airport with enthusiasm and positive attitude
  • Host self-service kiosks and verify passengers' documents prior to boarding aircraft
  • Interpret identification labels along with baggage and cargo routing tags
  • Ensure that all work areas are organized and functional including check-in, lobby, gate, and baggage areas
  • Make announcements, check baggage, and assign seats at the gate
  • Adhere to Menzies Aviation uniform guidelines and codes of conduct
  • Maintain high standards of safety, security, and compliance while performing duties
