Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • bilingual in English and Spanish
  • prior customer service or airport experience preferred
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • good problem-solving abilities
  • positive, can-do, upbeat personality
  • ability to follow written and oral instructions
  • willingness to adhere to uniform and conduct guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English
  • fluent in Spanish
  • excellent communication skills
  • computer proficiency to use computer-based systems
  • strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • ability to remain calm under pressure

Job Duties

  • Assist passengers with check-ins, verification, gate information, baggage claims and any other passenger issues in the airport
  • host self-service kiosks and verify passengers' documents prior to boarding aircraft
  • interpret identification labels along with baggage and cargo routing
  • ensure that all work areas are organized and functional (check-in, lobby, gate, baggage)
  • make announcements, check baggage, and assign seats in the gate area
  • provide courteous and efficient customer service maintaining a positive attitude
  • adhere to Menzies Aviation uniform guidelines and codes of conduct
