Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must exhibit exceptional customer service
  • Must successfully complete a background investigation
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
  • Maintain professional relationships with employees and clients
  • Possess effective interpersonal skills to deal with all levels of personnel and the public
  • Ability to read and understand all operating and airport procedures and instructions
  • Must be able to handle the pressure of working with high volume general public

Job Duties

  • Assist passengers with check-in at the front counter
  • Issue tickets, create or change reservations using the airline system
  • Provide flight information and solve ticket-related travel problems
  • Check-in passenger baggage using the internal baggage system
  • Handle baggage claims for inbound and outbound flights
  • Review all necessary travel documentation in compliance with company and government regulations
  • Serve as gate agent including boarding passengers for outbound flights
