Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Authorization to work in the United States or Canada as applicable
- Completion of SIDA training for airport security clearance
- One or more years of relevant experience preferred
- Previous airline or face-to-face customer service experience a plus
- Strong communication skills
- Basic computer literacy
- Ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues diplomatically
- Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Basic math skills to manage ticketing and payments
- Time-management skills to work effectively in a dynamic environment
- Professional appearance and grooming
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow safety procedures
- Commitment to safety and security compliance.
Job Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service according to AGI and airline standards
- Ensure safety and security procedures are strictly followed
- Handle customer interactions professionally at ticket counters and gates
- Manage reservations, ticket issuance, fare computations, refunds, and baggage check-in
- Address customer concerns and complaints empathetically
- Facilitate lost and found activities and baggage tracing
- Provide accurate flight schedules and travel information
- Assist passengers during boarding, deplaning, and at loading areas
- Coordinate flight close-outs and post-departure documentation
- Communicate flight movement messages between gate, ground teams, flight crew, and airport vendors
- Adhere to dangerous goods acceptance procedures
- Comply with health, safety, and security policies at all times
- Attend and complete required training courses as mandated by AGI.
