Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • computer experience necessary
  • previous customer service experience preferred
  • must be 18 years of age or older
  • must have a working telephone number
  • must have reliable telephone and transportation
  • treat all information as confidential
  • possess tact to deal with various situations professionally
  • ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
  • ability to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English
  • ability to stand and walk throughout the scheduled shift
  • ability to push, pull and lift 50 to 70 lbs consistently
  • ability to carry oversized bags 100 to 125 yards
  • must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
  • must complete a criminal background check
  • must be able to obtain a security sensitive identification badge
  • must be a U.S. citizen or have necessary INS authorization

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • computer experience

  • successful completion of a criminal background check
  • eligibility to obtain security sensitive identification badge
  • U.S. citizenship or appropriate immigration authorization

Job Duties

  • Greet passengers, clients and airline personnel in a courteous and professional manner
  • read and understand letters and numbers to pre-screen passenger tickets and determine city destination/gate locations for international and domestic flights
  • provide general information, directions and flight updates to passengers
  • provide special services such as courtesy chairs and bag carts as needed
  • direct large oversized luggage, pets, and other checked articles to the appropriate areas
  • summon security supervisors for difficult or uncooperative passengers
  • keep supervisors informed of issues and maintain cleanliness of work areas
  • project a positive image and respond courteously to inquiries
  • attend meetings and inservices as required
  • maintain records, reports and files using appropriate communication channels
  • adhere to uniform and identification badge policies
  • follow company policies and participate in achieving company objectives
  • utilize equipment and resources in a cost-effective manner
  • perform other duties as assigned
