Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • some supervisory or management experience in shift work environment
  • proven previous supervisor or management experience
  • verbal and written communications skills
  • must be 18 years of age or older
  • must have reliable telephone and transportation
  • treat all information as confidential
  • possess tact to deal with all levels of situations, client representatives, employees and the public
  • must be able to sit, stand, lift, and or bend throughout shift
  • must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
  • must complete a criminal background check
  • must be able to read, understand and carry out instructions in English
  • must meet necessary requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge
  • must be able to verbally direct in English
  • must be a citizen of the United States or possess the necessary authorization from the Immigration and Naturalization Service
  • be able to resolve problem situations with passengers when necessary

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • perform all duties of subordinate employees when necessary
  • be familiar with all pertinent regulations including company, client, and government agencies
  • schedule personnel daily and furnish copies to general or operations manager
  • monitor employee activity and make adjustments as needed
  • ensure employees follow all regulations and procedures
  • verify check in and out sheets to confirm accurate employee logging
  • deal courteously and tactfully with fellow employees
  • communicate effectively with employees and client representatives
  • make recommendations to general manager or operations manager regarding personnel performance
  • communicate safety hazards and equipment problems to management
  • ensure state licenses and training records are current
  • be on call 24 hours per day
  • report inquiries and major incidents to management
  • respond courteously to inquiries from clients, staff, and passengers
  • keep supervisors informed of problems and maintain cleanliness and maintenance reporting
  • project a positive image and uphold courteous communication
  • attend meetings and inservices as required
  • use appropriate communications channels and maintain necessary records and files
  • adhere to company policies and participate in company objectives
  • use equipment, supplies, and resources cost-effectively
  • perform quality assurance service audits to meet client specifications
  • perform other duties as requested
