Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 18 years of age or older
- Previous airport and/or customer service experience preferred
- Reliable telephone and transportation
- Ability to read, understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly in English
- Physically able to lift, carry or hold up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks such as stooping, squatting, pushing, standing and bending
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug screening
- Must complete a criminal background check
- Must meet necessary requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge
- Must be a US citizen or have necessary authorization from the immigration and naturalization service
- Treat all information as confidential
- Possess tact and professionalism when dealing with all levels of clients, employees, and the public
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent

- Ability to work from verbal and written instructions
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in written form
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must possess tact to deal with clients, employees, and the public
- Must be able to lift, stoop, squat, push, stand, bend, and carry up to 75 lbs
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
- Must complete criminal background check
- Must meet requirements for a security sensitive identification badge
- Must be a US citizen or possess valid immigration authorization
- Must have reliable telephone and transportation
Job Duties
- Actively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS)
- Provide special assistance to passengers as requested
- Provide general information and directions to passengers
- Meet inbound arrivals as requested to provide special services (courtesy chairs, walk assistance through the terminal)
- Check equipment thoroughly before use (wheels, locks, seats, back and footrests)
- Lock wheels when assisting passengers in/out of courtesy chair
- Always use both hands when pushing courtesy chairs
- Always back chairs down inclines
- Always request assistance when transferring passengers who cannot transfer independently
- Never take a courtesy chair up/down stairways or escalators
- Complete appropriate documentation in a timely manner
- Handle passengers' property and mobility aids carefully
- Be familiar with all government, client, airport, and company regulations
- Keep supervisor informed of needs and report maintenance issues
- Project a positive image and respond courteously to inquiries
- Attend meetings and required in-services
- Utilize proper communication channels and maintain records
- Be attired in proper uniform or business attire and display identification badges
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Use equipment, supplies, and resources in a cost-effective manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Comply with all safety requirements including using only trained equipment, reporting unsafe conditions, wearing PPE, and attending safety training
