Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous airport and/or customer service experience preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have reliable telephone and transportation
- Treat all information as confidential
- Possess tact to deal with all levels of situations, client representatives, employees and the public
- Must be able to read, understand and carry out instructions in English
- Ability to work from verbal and written instructions
- Ability to communicate in English clearly and concisely verbally and in written form
- Must be able to lift, stoop, squat, push, stand and/or bend throughout the shift
- Must be able to lift, carry and/or hold up to 75 lbs
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug test
- Must complete a criminal background check
- Must meet necessary requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge
- Must be a citizen of the US or possess the necessary authorization from the immigration and naturalization Service (INS)

- Must be familiar with government, client, airport and company regulations
- Must have neat and careful handling skills for property especially mobility aids and luggage
Job Duties
- Actively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS)
- Provide special assistance to passengers as requested
- Provide general information and directions to passengers
- Meet inbound arrivals as requested to provide special services such as courtesy chairs and walk assistance through the terminal
- Check equipment thoroughly before use including wheels, locks, seats, back and footrests
- Lock wheels when assisting passengers in or out of courtesy chair
- Always use both hands when pushing courtesy chairs
- Always back chairs down inclines
- Request assistance from another employee when transferring passengers if they cannot transfer themselves
- Never take a courtesy chair up or down stairways or escalators
- Complete appropriate documentation in a timely manner
- Be neat and careful when handling other people’s property, especially mobility aids and luggage
- Be familiar with all government, client, airport, and company regulations
- Keep supervisor informed of needs and problems in assigned areas, maintain cleanliness of work area, and report maintenance needs
- Project a positive image and respond courteously to inquiries from airlines, staff and the public
- Attend meetings and in-services as required
- Utilize appropriate communication channels and maintain records, reports, and files as needed
- Always wear proper uniform or business attire, keep identification badges visible
- Adhere to company policies and procedures and participate in achieving company objectives
- Use company and client equipment, supplies and resources conscientiously and cost effectively
- Perform other duties as requested
- Comply with all safety requirements including using only trained equipment, reporting unsafe conditions and injuries, wearing proper PPE, and attending safety training
