Job Requirements

- Motivation to develop knowledge in food safety and manufacturing
- Ability to tolerate cold and humid environments
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and organize tasks independently
Job Qualifications
- Enrolled in an accredited university program seeking an associate or bachelor degree
- Strong attention to detail
- Problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Tolerance to various environmental conditions including cold temperatures
- Preferred studies in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, animal sciences, agricultural sciences, nutritional sciences, food sciences, public health, or community health
Job Duties
- Work with FSQA and operations to understand production processes
- Assist the food safety manager with data collection and entry for supplier qualification
- Conduct data analysis and report environmental test results for processing rooms
- Apply critical thinking and problem solving to support validation team compliance
- Evaluate product specification documents from suppliers and company processed products
- Participate in weekly industry-related mentorship sessions
- Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices
