Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in event coordination or customer service
  • ability to instruct and engage participants in craft activities
  • capability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for long periods
  • excellent communication and organizational skills
  • ability to multitask and manage multiple events simultaneously
  • willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • ability to maintain safety and cleanliness standards
  • commitment to company policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children's birthday parties and craft classes
  • engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
  • demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and face painting
  • facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards
  • communicate events with clients and store team members
  • handle administrative tasks including answering emails, making phone calls, and completing paperwork
  • adjust plans based on client feedback and create backup or emergency plans
  • ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards before and after events
  • help customers shop and locate products
  • provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • promote and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
  • educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
  • assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes
  • participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
  • complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
  • perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
  • support shrink and safety programs
  • adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
  • interact respectfully and positively with others
  • cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production
  • maintain daily store cleanliness including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom maintenance
