Job Requirements
- Must have one year experience in customer service or related field
- must obtain Red Cross or American Heart Association Adult CPR, AED, and First Aid Certification within designated timeframe (online training not valid)
- must pass a drug test
- must pass a criminal background check
- must verify social security number
- must be at least sixteen years of age
- must pass a physical examination
- must maintain regular and punctual attendance
- must be able to work weekends, overtime, or outside normal business hours
- must be able to work on a rotating seven-day schedule
- must be able to obtain Adult and Pediatric CPR, AED and First Aid certification by designated timeframe
- must maintain emotional control under stress
- must follow established safety procedures
- must report unsafe conditions promptly
Job Qualifications
- One year experience in customer service or related field
- Red Cross or American Heart Association Adult CPR, AED, and First Aid Certification within designated timeframe
- knowledge of leisure, social, health and legal needs of individuals with disabilities at all age levels
- knowledge of CPR/AED first aid procedures
- skill in problem solving and identifying solutions
- basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and other software systems
- skill in providing exceptional customer service
- skill in interpersonal relationships using patience and courtesy
- ability to interact with children and adults promoting a safe and fun environment
- ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment
- ability to handle difficult situations with professional composure
- effective oral and written communication skills
- flexibility and adaptability to changing work environments
- ability to recognize and solve a variety of problems
Job Duties
- Work scheduled parties and events at assigned location
- greet and assist guests with requests
- bring in and store gifts
- set up and clean up for booked parties
- maintain cleanliness and organization of party area
- serve food and beverages to all party guests
- direct all guests to areas throughout Water Works Park and the Denton Natatorium
- handle and resolve guest concerns in a courteous and professional manner
- notify leadership immediately if not able to resolve customer concerns
- attend all staff meetings and trainings as required
