South Suburban Parks and Recreation is a dynamic and community-focused organization dedicated to promoting healthy living through the stewardship of the environment, parks, trails, and open spaces. Serving residents across Bow Mar, Columbine Valley, Centennial west of I-25, Littleton, Lone Tree, Sheridan, and unincorporated parts of Douglas, Jefferson, and Arapahoe counties, South Suburban manages a diverse range of recreational assets. Job Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen years of age
- Experience working with children ages 3 to 12
- Availability on Sundays between 9 am and 4 pm
- Friendly and responsible attitude
- Ability to multitask and respond quickly to requests
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Previous party host or customer service experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to demonstrate teamwork, creativity, and innovation
- Friendly and bubbly personality
- Effective communication and engagement skills with children and parents
- Comfortable working with children aged 3 to 12
- Experience in creative game planning
Job Duties
- Create a fun and memorable experience for birthday children and guests
- Host groups of children during parties
- Set up and clean up party areas
- Lead various engaging activities and games
- Demonstrate outstanding customer service and maintain high energy
- Communicate effectively and interact with children and parents
- Respond quickly to requests and multitask efficiently
