Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience working with children and children’s events
- ability to stand for long periods
- physical ability to bend, lift, carry, and reach
- ability to safely use ladders to access high shelves
- willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- able to work in a public retail store environment
- legal authorization to work in the United States

- Experience in event coordination or similar role
- retail or customer service experience
- excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- strong interpersonal skills
- creativity and problem-solving abilities
- ability to engage with customers of all ages
- organizational skills to manage multiple events simultaneously
- ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- familiarity with standard retail operations and procedures
Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- engage with clients of all ages by fostering creativity and fun
- demonstrate and instruct craft projects and activities such as face painting
- facilitate and implement party add-ons like goody bags and balloons to company standards
- communicate effectively with clients and store team members
- complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
- adjust and create backup plans based on client feedback
- ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards before, during, and after events
- assist customers with product selection and provide friendly checkout
- promote and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
- educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
- support Omni channel operations including BOPIS and Ship From Store
- participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
- perform merchandise recovery and maintenance
- support shrink and safety programs
- adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
- interact positively and respectfully with customers and team members
- cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production
- maintain daily store cleanliness including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom upkeep
- perform other duties as assigned
