Job Requirements
- Ability to remain standing for long periods
- ability to move throughout the store
- regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
- must be able to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladder or equipment
- must have energetic and enthusiastic personality
- must satisfy federal, state, and local legal job requirements
Job Qualifications
- Experience working with children and children’s events
- retail or customer service experience
- excellent people skills
- good communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal communication
- strong organizational, interpersonal, and creative problem-solving skills
- ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others
Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- engage clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
- demonstrate and instruct craft projects and activities like face painting
- facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons according to company standards
- communicate event details with clients and store team members
- complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
- adjust event plans based on client feedback and needs
