Job Requirements
- Ability to remain standing for long periods
- Ability to move throughout the store
- Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladders or similar equipment
- Capability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Must comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements
- Ability to assist in cleaning and maintaining store areas
- Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks in a public retail setting
- Must be able to work in climate-controlled and some non-climate-controlled environments
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in retail or customer service
- Experience working with children and children’s events
- Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and listening skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality
Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- Engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
- Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and activities like face painting
- Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons according to company standards
- Communicate event details with clients and store team members
- Complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
- Adjust event plans based on client feedback and needs
- Ensure client satisfaction for all scheduled events
- Uphold cleanliness and safety standards during setup, event, and cleanup
- Assist customers in locating products and provide solutions
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experiences
- Promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
- Educate customers on the Voice of Customer survey
- Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store
- Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
- Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
- Perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
- Support shrink and safety programs
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and Company policies
- Interact positively and respectfully with customers and team members
- Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
- Participate in daily store cleanliness activities such as sweeping, vacuuming, and maintaining restrooms
- Other duties as assigned
