Job Requirements

  • Ability to remain standing for long periods
  • Ability to move throughout the store

  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and use ladders
  • Must satisfy federal, state, and local legal job requirements
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • Must maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • Ability to engage with guests of all ages and coworkers respectfully
  • Must be able to perform store operational tasks
  • Must be able to assist in truck unloading and merchandise stocking

Job Qualifications

  • Experience working with children and children’s events
  • Excellent people skills
  • Strong communication skills including written, verbal, nonverbal, and listening skills
  • Organizational, interpersonal, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Retail and/or customer service experience
  • Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others
  • Energetic and enthusiastic personality

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • Engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
  • Demonstrate and instruct craft projects and perform activities like face painting
  • Facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons according to company standards
  • Communicate event details with clients and store teams
  • Complete administrative tasks including answering emails, making phone calls, and paperwork
  • Adjust event plans based on client feedback
  • Create and implement backup or emergency plans
  • Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
  • Maintain company cleanliness and safety standards by setting up and cleaning before and after events
  • Assist customers in shopping, product location, and providing solutions
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • Promote and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
  • Educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
  • Support omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS
  • Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
  • Perform merchandise recovery and store maintenance
  • Execute Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
  • Support shrink and safety programs
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
  • Interact respectfully and positively with customers and team members
  • Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production
  • Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
