Job Requirements
- Ability to remain standing for long periods
- Ability to move throughout the store
- Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
- Capability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladders or similar equipment
- Must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements for employment in the U.S.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Retail or customer service experience required
- Experience working with children and children’s events preferred
- Excellent people skills
- Strong communication skills including written, verbal, nonverbal, and listening
- Organizational and interpersonal skills
- Creative problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality
Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- Engage and interact with guests of all ages by fostering an environment of creativity and fun
- Demonstrate and instruct participants in craft projects and activities such as face painting
- Implement and manage party add-ons like goody bags and balloons to company standards
- Communicate effectively with clients and store team members about event details
- Complete administrative tasks including answering emails, making phone calls, and handling paperwork
- Adjust event plans based on client feedback and needs
- Develop and execute backup or emergency plans for events
- Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards before, during, and after events
- Assist customers in shopping and locating products
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- Promote rewards program and private label credit cards and complete enrollments
- Educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
- Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes
- Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
- Maintain merchandise recovery and store cleanliness
- Support shrink and safety programs
- Adhere to company policies, standard operating procedures, and compliance requirements
- Interact positively and respectfully with customers and team members
- Cross-train in custom framing selling and production
- Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom maintenance
