Job Requirements
- Ability to remain standing for long periods
- Ability to move throughout the store
- Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using a ladder or similar equipment
- Must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements for employment
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Ability to perform physical activities required in a retail environment
- Willingness to engage with customers respectfully and positively
- Must be able to follow company policies and procedures

- Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others including guests and co-workers
- Excellent people skills
- Experience working with children and organizing children's events
- Strong communication skills including written, verbal, and listening
- Organizational, interpersonal, and creative problem-solving skills
- Retail and/or customer service experience
Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children's birthday parties and other craft classes or events
- Engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
- Demonstrate and instruct party participants in the completion of craft projects and perform face painting
- Facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards
- Communicate events with clients and store team members
- Complete administrative tasks including answering emails and making phone calls
- Adjust plans based on client feedback and needs
- Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
- Uphold company cleanliness and safety standards including setup and cleanup
- Help customers shop and locate products
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- Promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments
- Educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
- Support Omni channel processes like BOPIS and Ship From Store
- Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
- Maintain merchandise recovery and perform Store in Stock Optimization
- Support shrink and safety programs
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
- Maintain respect and positive interactions with customers and team members
- Cross train in Custom Framing selling and production
- Perform daily store cleanliness activities
