Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in retail or customer service
- Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladders
- Ability to communicate clearly and positively with customers and coworkers
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements
- Ability to follow company policies and safety regulations

- Experience working with children and children’s events
- Retail and/or customer service experience
- Good communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality
- Creative problem-solving skills
Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- Engage with clients by creating an environment of fun and creativity
- Demonstrate and instruct craft activities and perform party tasks such as face painting
- Facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons
- Communicate event details with clients and store team members
- Complete administrative tasks such as emails, phone calls and paperwork
- Adjust event plans based on client feedback and create back-up plans
- Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards
- Assist customers with shopping and locating products
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experiences
- Promote rewards program and credit card enrollments
- Educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys
- Support omnichannel shopping processes including BOPIS and SFS
- Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and merchandise maintenance
- Perform recovery, Store in Stock Optimization, and ensure compliance with policies
- Support shrinkage and safety programs
- Interact positively and respectfully with customers and team members
- Participate in custom framing selling and production
- Maintain store cleanliness through daily activities
